From Queenstown or the North

Travel South out of Queenstown on State Highway 6 following signs for Invercargill / Milford Sound. The lake will be on your right hand side all the way to Kingston, continue past Kingston until you get to Garston, go past the Garston Hotel and on leaving Garston take the first left turn up Blackmore Road, continue up this gravel road until you get to a left turn and go up Mclean road. Blackmore is the first homestead you come to on your right.

From Invercargill, Te Anau or the South

Travelling North on State Highway 6, on approaching Garston take a right turn onto Blackmore Road (this road is located about 1km south of the township of Garston) continue up this gravel road until you get to a left turn and go up Mclean road. Blackmore is the first homestead you come to on your right.
