Bookings

Bookings are essential and can be made by phone or e-mail. You will need to provide your name, contact details, the date you wish to walk and the number of people in your party. Once an available date has been confirmed a booking form and additional information will be sent to you via e-mail or post. In order to secure your booking please return the booking form and payment is required within 7 days.

Group bookings are most welcome and discounts can be arranged for groups of 10 people or more.

Payments

To secure a booking payment must be made in full within 7 days  if not your booking will not be valid and the space will go to another party. Payment can be made by cheque or internet banking. We do not have credit card facilities.

Refund Policy

A 50% refund will be given if a booking is cancelled between 7 - 20 days before the arrival date.

No refund will be given if a booking is cancelled less than 7 days prior to the arrival date.

If High Country Walks is closed due to unsafe weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances we will provide a full refund.

You Bring

Lunch and snacks on all walks apart from the guided walk to the Chinese hut. Warm clothing, hat, gloves, rain jacket, camera, suitable footwear such as walking boots or running shoes, sunscreen, bottle of water.
